Green Projects Designations
|
RND Construction has successfully completed and registered many green projects
in Ottawa over the years:
- ecoEnergy Retrofits
- Energy Star
- LEED®
- CBIP (Canadian Building Incentive Program)
The EnerGuide rating is referenced frequently in this section – the following
explains the meaning of the rating system:
- 0 - 50 Old house - Not upgraded
- 51 - 64 Old house - Upgraded
- 65 - 72 New house built to building code standards
- 73 - 79 New house with some energy-efficiency improvements
- 80 - 90 Energy-efficient new house
- 91 - 100 House requires little or no purchased energy.
