For over 20 years, RND Construction has served the Ottawa area with pride,
building a reputation as one of the city's foremost general contracting
firms. Under the leadership of owner Roy Nandram and with a skilled and
dedicated staff of experienced trades, RND has mastered the art of listening
carefully to our clients and paying very close attention to the details of
our work to ensure that the end result is always beautiful, practical and
eco-friendly throughout.

In fact, RND was a pioneer in Green Building long before it became the latest trend. On the walls of their office, you will find a plethora of certificates and Awards for innovative ecological building practices and other evidence of the company's deep-rooted commitment to sustainable development. The oldest of these might be a framed certificate honouring Mr. Nandram's completion of a Canadian General Standards Board course on Insulating Homes for Energy Conservation nearly 30 years ago in 1982, many years before “green” was the buzzword it is today. And in 2009, Mr. Nandram earned his LEED® Accredited Professional designation. |

The RND team as a whole believes strongly that constructing the most energy-light and air-tight buildings possible will always be better for our clients in the long run, and this philosophy shows in the many innovative efforts we make every day to further these goals: Recycling discarded wood, repurposing disused materials and using low-VOC products at all times are just a few ways that we aim to reduce the impact of our construction on the environment, while at the same time providing our clients with the most efficient and usable spaces possible. |
